Lou Taylor Pucci Joins the Cast of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’
The upcoming MCU project ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ has garnered significant attention, driven both by fan excitement and production challenges. Issues ranging from the SAG-AFTRA strike to disagreements between showrunners and the studio have impacted its development.
Despite these hurdles, it was announced that the new iteration of the show would closely tie in with the original Netflix series, with several actors reprising their roles. Charlie Cox returns as Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, the Punisher. Margarita Levieva portrays Heather Glenn, a love interest of Matt Murdock, while Michael Gandolfini appears as Daniel Blade. Sandrine Holt takes on the role of Vanessa Fisk, Wilson Fisk’s wife. Additionally, Nikki M. James plays Kirsten McDuffie, Genneya Walton portrays BB Urich, and Clark Johnson is cast as Cherry. Arty Froushan plays Buck Cashman, Zabryna Guevara portrays Sheila Rivera, Deborah Ann Woll reprises her role as Karen Page, and Elden Henson returns as Franklin “Foggy” Nelson, Matt Murdock’s best friend and law partner.
Wilson Bethel plays Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter, an FBI agent with psychopathic tendencies who is highly skilled in using everyday objects as weapons. Jeremy Earl portrays Cole North, an NYPD officer and member of the Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Additionally, Michael Gaston, Marc Geller, and Harris Yulin have also been cast, though their roles have not been revealed.
Adding to the cast, actor Lou Taylor Pucci has been announced to join the production of ‘Born Again,’ although his role remains undisclosed. It’s unclear whether he will have a major role or appear in only a few episodes.
At ten years old, Lou started acting in local productions and later became an understudy on Broadway by age twelve. He gained recognition for his roles in films such as ‘The Chumscrubber,’ ‘Thumbsucker,’ and ‘The Story of Luke,’ earning accolades at prestigious film festivals. Throughout the late 2000s, he appeared in various indie films, including a leading role in the ‘Evil Dead’ remake. Additionally, he had significant roles in TV series like ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ and made guest appearances on ‘You’ and ‘You’re the Worst.’
