‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is the latest addition to the MCU and has been a massive hit, breaking several box-office records. The ‘Deadpool’ franchise is known for being one of the highest-grossing R-rated series in history, so it was clear from the announcement of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ that Disney would need to rate it R to stay true to the character.

As the MCU gradually shifts towards more adult-oriented content with releases like ‘Echo’ and the upcoming ‘Marvel Zombies,’ it seems the SSU is following a similar path.

Yes, Sony’s Spider-Man Universe is still active, and we’re eagerly anticipating ‘Kraven the Hunter.’ The recent trailer hints at a film packed with bloody and gory action, suggesting the movie will deliver on its promise of intense scenes.

Sony had previously teased ‘Venom’ and ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ as potentially R-rated but ultimately released them as PG-13, significantly toning down the violence.

However, according to Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who stars in ‘Kraven the Hunter,’ the movie is officially rated R. Johnson has hinted at what to expect, describing the film as “raw and brutal.” He mentioned that reading ‘Kraven’s Last Hunt’ for preparation left him stunned by its intensity. Johnson also noted that many Marvel fans are now of age to appreciate R-rated content.

I’m not a comic-book reader, but there’s one called Kraven’s Last Hunt…You just think, ‘What the fuck have I just read?’ That’s the kind of character I’m playing. But then, a lot of the people who grew up with Marvel are old enough now to watch an R-rated movie.

The recently released trailer for ‘Kraven the Hunter’ showcases the character using some truly inventive methods to defeat his enemies. The trailer features Kraven stabbing foes with tiger teeth, tearing faces apart with bear traps, and slashing throats with animal horns. We’re eagerly anticipating the film!
