Jason Momoa gained global recognition for his role as Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones, despite previously starring in popular series like Baywatch Hawaii and Stargate Atlantis. Though his character had a brief presence in Game of Thrones, his commanding portrayal left a lasting impression and opened doors in Hollywood.

In addition to Game of Thrones, Momoa is best known for his role as Aquaman in the troubled DCEU. Recent reports suggest he might return as Lobo in the newly restructured DCU.

While fans await news about Jason Momoa’s potential role as Lobo, he’s currently working on A Minecraft Movie. The cast includes Jack Black as Steve, Jason Momoa as Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison, Emma Myers as Natalie, Danielle Brooks as Dawn, and Sebastian Eugene Hansen as Henry, with Jennifer Coolidge, Kate McKinnon, Jemaine Clement, and Matt Berry in undisclosed roles.

Recently, popular YouTuber Valkyrae, who is also set to appear in the film, claimed to have witnessed Momoa mistreating the crew. She described him yelling at crew members after an intense scene, allegedly staying in character and becoming angry over the shot setup. Valkyrae said it created a toxic work environment, one she wouldn’t want to work in.

This isn’t the first time accusations about Momoa’s on-set behavior have surfaced. During the filming of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Amber Heard accused him of trying to get her fired and imitating her ex-husband Johnny Depp by wearing similar clothes and accessories. There were also claims that Momoa often arrived on set intoxicated.

Additionally, Momoa sparked controversy at San Diego Comic-Con when he made a disturbing joke about his Game of Thrones character Khal Drogo, suggesting that the fantasy genre allowed him to “rape beautiful women.” His comment drew heavy criticism for trivializing sexual assault, though Momoa later issued an apology.

Despite his apology, the backlash remained significant. Have any thoughts on this? Share them in the comments below!
