‘Red, White & Royal Blue’ is a romantic comedy film based on the popular book by Casey McQuiston. It follows the love story between Alex, the son of the U.S. President, and Prince Henry, a British royal. Now notable industry insider Daniel Richtman shared on his Patreon that the sequel to is set to begin filming in the fall. This means the cast and crew will start working on the movie later this year.

Additionally, there are positive reports about the script, suggesting that the story for the sequel is strong and well-written. Fans can likely expect an exciting and well-received continuation of the first film.

The ‘Red, White & Royal Blue’ cast features Taylor Zakhar Perez as Alex Claremont-Diaz, the U.S. president’s son, and Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Henry of Britain, alongside Uma Thurman as President Ellen Claremont and Stephen Fry as King James III. Other key roles include Clifton Collins Jr. as Alex’s father, Rachel Hilson as his best friend Nora, and Ellie Bamber as Henry’s sister, Princess Beatrice.

The film also includes notable cameos, such as author Casey McQuiston as Ellen Claremont’s speechwriter and real-life journalists Rachel Maddow and Joy Reid playing themselves.
