Nintendo Switch 2 Updates for Pokémon and Zelda Games Announced – Details Revealed

Nintendo has announced exciting free updates for several popular games ahead of the Switch 2 release. These updates will enhance the gaming experience on the new console by improving visuals, performance, and even adding HDR support.

The updates will be available on June 5, 2025, for Pokémon Scarlet, Pokémon Violet, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Remake, and The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Nintendo has detailed what each update will include.

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will both receive visual optimization to make the games look better on the Nintendo Switch 2 display and high-resolution TVs.
