Fan Favorite ‘The Boys’ Supe Confirmed To Join the Chaos in ‘Gen V’ Season 2
Erin Moriarty is coming back as Starlight, but not in the place fans might expect. Before we say goodbye to her in the final season of The Boys, she’ll be making her first-ever appearance in Gen V Season 2.
The surprise was revealed during San Diego Comic-Con 2025, when a new trailer dropped for the show. In it, Starlight shows up to help Marie (played by Jaz Sinclair) and the rest of the gang at Godolkin University as they fight back against the shady powers running the school.

While fans have already seen other familiar faces from The Boys in Gen V — like Chace Crawford’s Deep and Antony Starr’s Homelander, this is the first time Annie January is stepping into the spin-off.
And according to the footage, she’s not just passing through. She’s got a serious role in taking down the system.
Prime Video also revealed a few more returning characters. Chace Crawford is back as The Deep, and the trailer gave us a glimpse of Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell) going head-to-head with Polarity, played by Sean Patrick Thomas.
There’s more crossover too, with Firecracker (Valorie Curry) making an appearance after teasing her arrival in a previous teaser.
Starlight’s arrival in Gen V might be one of her last big moments in the Vought universe. Filming for Season 5 of The Boys wrapped earlier this month, and showrunner Eric Kripke has been sharing photos and posts about saying farewell. The set is gone, and several cast members, including Moriarty, have posted their own goodbyes. There’s no release date yet for the final season, but the end is clearly in sight.
As for Gen V, Season 2 kicks off on September 17 on Prime Video, and this time, it’s going even bigger. Starlight is in the mix now, and if this trailer is anything to go by, she’s bringing the heat.
