Celebrities Accused of Stalking
Stories about fame often focus on red carpets and premieres, but the legal system tells a different side. Across sports, music, television, and reality shows, a number of well known figures have faced accusations that involved stalking statutes, restraining orders, or long standing no contact orders. These cases show how allegations move through police reports and courts, and how the outcomes can differ widely from guilty pleas to dismissals or civil orders with no criminal conviction.
This list looks at publicly reported accusations and court filings that used the language of stalking or described conduct that led to protective orders. Each entry notes what was alleged, what courts decided where available, and what conditions were imposed such as probation terms, treatment requirements, or restraining orders that limit contact for years.

In 2006 the former MLB All Star pleaded guilty in Arizona to a felony stalking charge involving an ex girlfriend. Investigators documented harassing calls and the discovery of a GPS tracker that had fallen from the victim’s car, which supported the state’s case. He received a 90 day jail term credited from sentencing and a five year term of supervised probation with a strict no contact requirement.
Court records from the sentencing make clear that any violation would trigger a prison term. The case became an early example cited by law enforcement and technologists when discussing how inexpensive GPS devices were showing up in stalking investigations. Those discussions emphasized that the tracking device was only one part of the evidence used alongside witness accounts and phone records.

The original voice actor for Charlie Brown pleaded guilty in 2013 to stalking and threatening his former girlfriend and her plastic surgeon. The judge ordered a year in custody converted to treatment and placed him on five years of probation with restitution and a long no contact order for the surgeon.
Subsequent probation issues and new threat cases led to further court proceedings in 2015. Those later matters resulted in a multi year state prison sentence for criminal threats that was separate from the earlier stalking case, which illustrates how probation violations can compound consequences across related dockets.

In 2017 a Los Angeles judge granted a five year restraining order protecting Karrueche Tran after she submitted messages and testimony that described threats and unwanted contact. The order required him to stay a set distance away from her and barred direct or indirect contact throughout its term.
Earlier orders from a different case against another ex also included prohibitions on harassing or stalking conduct. Protective orders in California use standardized language that instructs respondents not to harass, threaten, or follow the protected person, and a violation can be charged as a separate offense even if no new assault is alleged.

In September 2020 Cassie Randolph filed for a restraining order in Los Angeles and alleged a pattern of unwanted appearances and the placement of a tracking device on her vehicle. The court issued a temporary order while a hearing was scheduled and police took an initial report.
In November 2020 Randolph asked the court to dismiss the order with prejudice after the parties reached a private agreement outside of court. The dismissal ended the temporary order and the related police inquiry, which is a common outcome when both sides document a resolution and the petitioner no longer seeks protection.

In February 2019 singer Justine Skye obtained a domestic violence restraining order after publicly alleging assault and stalking by the rapper and his associates. The order required that he remain a specific distance away from her pending a later hearing and barred contact across channels.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney declined to file criminal charges that spring citing evidentiary issues. Civil protective orders operate under a lower burden of proof than criminal filings, so the existence of a valid order does not necessarily mean a criminal case will proceed, and a declined filing does not cancel a civil order already in place.

In 2012 the former NBA player pleaded guilty in Caddo Parish, Louisiana, to misdemeanor stalking. The court imposed a suspended six month jail sentence and placed him on eighteen months of supervised probation with standard conditions that included compliance with no contact terms.
The arrest that led to the plea followed a report that he had followed a woman’s vehicle after an argument. Louisiana’s misdemeanor stalking statute covers repeated following or harassment that would cause a reasonable person to feel alarmed, and probation terms often include counseling directives in addition to no contact provisions.
Stuart Hogg

In late 2024 the former Scotland rugby captain faced multiple allegations, among them stalking counts related to separate complainants. Bail conditions included strict no contact terms and prohibited social media communications about the case while it was pending.
In March 2025 prosecutors accepted pleas to unrelated assault and threatening communications charges and moved to drop the stalking counts. The court imposed unpaid work, a suspended custodial term, and a non harassment order that restricts contact for several years, which is a typical Scottish outcome when parties and prosecutors agree to resolve a case without trial on every original count.
Kamahl

In 2024 the Australian singer was charged with stalking and intimidation counts following a police complaint. The Local Court accepted a mental health application that diverted the matter from the standard criminal track while imposing conditions and treatment.
In 2025 the court dismissed the charges under mental health legislation and confirmed that no conviction would be recorded. The dismissal still leaves in place any civil orders that protect the complainant, and any future violation of those orders can create a new offense even though the original counts did not result in a conviction.
