The screenplay was written by Chris Terrio, based on the book by Mendez and an article by Joshuah Bearman. The cast includes Bryan Cranston, Alan Arkin, and John Goodman.

Joe is one such looper, and he’s gotten very good at his job. One day, the mob decides to “close the loop”, sending back Joe’s future self for assassination.

The film was written and directed by Rian Johnson. Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays the younger Joe, while Bruce Willis portrays his older self. The story follows the intense cat-and-mouse game between the two versions of the same man, as young Joe must hunt down his future self to survive. Emily Blunt also stars as a tough-as-nails farmer who gets caught in the middle of their conflict.

In a dystopian future, the nation of Panem is divided into 12 districts and the wealthy Capitol. Each year, two young representatives from each district are selected by lottery to participate in The Hunger Games. Part entertainment, part brutal intimidation of the subjugated districts, the televised games are broadcast throughout Panem. The 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors while the citizens of Panem are required to watch.

Based on the novel by Suzanne Collins, the film was directed by Gary Ross, who co-wrote the screenplay with Collins and Billy Ray. Jennifer Lawrence stars as Katniss Everdeen, a resourceful teenager from District 12 who volunteers to take her younger sister’s place in the games. Josh Hutcherson plays Peeta Mellark, the other tribute from her district. The cast also includes Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, and Elizabeth Banks.
