Hell’s Paradise, based on Yūji Kaku’s manga Jigokuraku, follows the deadly journey of the ninja Gabimaru and the executioner Yamada Asaemon Sagiri as they search for the elixir of life on a dangerous island filled with monstrous threats.

The first season aired in 2023 with 13 episodes and quickly gained attention for its intense action and gripping story. After the season finale, fans were left eagerly awaiting news about the continuation of Gabimaru’s story.

The new trailer reveals that the upcoming season will introduce several new characters venturing onto the perilous island. MAPPA also confirmed that the main cast and production team from season one will be returning. In addition, the studio announced the new voice actors joining the series: Ryota Suzuki as Shugen, Koji Yusa as Jikka, Maaya Uchida as Kiyomaru, and Sayaka Ohara as Isuzu.

With the January 2026 premiere, fans will have roughly three years to anticipate the next chapter in Gabimaru’s dangerous quest. The trailer hints at intense battles and new alliances, promising to expand the story and the world viewers were introduced to in the first season.

The first season set a high bar, and this next season looks ready to deliver. What do you think about the upcoming season? Are you excited to see Gabimaru back in action? Share your thoughts in the comments.
