Kim Kardashian Calls Out Psychics After Failing California Bar: “They Swore I’d Pass… They Dropped the Ball!”
Kim Kardashian is sharing her frustration after not passing the California Bar Exam, and part of her venting is aimed at psychics she consulted along the way. In a TikTok clip from her mom Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday, Kardashian complained on the phone that four psychics she met all assured her she would pass. She called them “full of s**”* and “pathological liars,” warning her friend not to trust them again.
Despite the setback, Kardashian is not giving up on her dream of becoming a lawyer. She told fans on Instagram, “I’m not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV.” She added, “Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up — just more studying and even more determination.”

The reality star came very close to passing the exam, which she says motivates her even more. “Falling short isn’t failure — it’s fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more,” she explained.
Kardashian has been studying law since 2018 through a California apprenticeship program. This program allows aspiring lawyers to train under licensed attorneys rather than attending a traditional law school. She worked with a San Francisco law firm and finished her apprenticeship earlier this year.
Kardashian’s interest in law is deeply personal. Her late father, Robert Kardashian, was a famous lawyer, and her work in criminal justice reform has been ongoing for years. She helped secure clemency for Alice Marie Johnson, who was serving a life sentence for a nonviolent drug offense, and has supported other initiatives like “90 Days to Freedom” and the First Step Act, which aim to reduce harsh sentences for first-time offenders.
This isn’t her first hurdle. Kardashian failed the “baby bar” exam, a test for first-year law students studying outside accredited schools, three times before finally passing on her fourth attempt in 2021. “I failed this exam three times in two years, but I got back up each time and studied harder,” she recalled.
Even now, after not passing the full bar, Kardashian is determined to continue. She plans to study further and try the exam again in the future.
