Billie Eilish Calls Elon Musk ‘Pathetic’ in Fiery Instagram Post About Trillionaire Status
Billie Eilish has taken aim at Elon Musk following recent news about his potential to become the world’s first trillionaire. The pop star, known for her outspoken views on social issues, shared her criticism in a profanity-filled post on Instagram.
The controversy comes after Tesla shareholders approved a plan that could grant Musk shares worth trillions if the company hits certain financial and operational goals over the next decade.
If successful, Tesla’s market value could reach $8.5 trillion, with Musk owning a quarter of the company. Targets include expanding subscriptions to its self-driving software to 10 million and selling one million humanoid robots. Musk described the plan as “not merely a new chapter of the future of Tesla, but a whole new book” during a shareholder meeting.
Eilish’s post highlighted a campaign by the My Voice, My Choice initiative that suggested Musk use his wealth for philanthropic causes, such as spending $40 billion a year to fight global hunger, $10 billion annually to vaccinate newborns over the next century, and $53.2 billion to rebuild Gaza. Alongside sharing the campaign’s slides, Eilish added a blunt message directed at Musk, calling him “pathetic” and “coward” while including three expletives.

““f***ing pathetic p***y b**** coward””
The singer has been critical of billionaires in the past, including during her recent WSJ Innovator Awards speech. This latest post continues her pattern of speaking out on wealth inequality and urging those with immense resources to make a positive global impact.
