Phil Lord & Chris Miller’s ‘Project Hail Mary’ Trailer Released with Ryan Gosling
A new trailer for Project Hail Mary has just been released, giving fans an early look at the upcoming sci-fi adventure directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.
The film, based on Andy Weir’s 2021 novel of the same name, stars Ryan Gosling, who also serves as a producer, alongside Sandra Hüller and Milana Vayntrub. This marks Lord and Miller’s first completed film in over a decade, following 22 Jump Street in 2014.
The story centers on astronaut Ryland Grace, played by Gosling, who wakes up on a spacecraft with no memory of who he is or why he’s there. He soon realizes he is the last survivor of a mission to the Tau Ceti system, sent to find a solution to a disaster threatening Earth. Grace must use his scientific skills, intelligence, and determination to complete the mission, but he may not be entirely alone.

Cinematographer Greig Fraser was hired to capture the film’s visual style.
