Kim Kardashian opened up about a surprising health discovery during a new episode of The Kardashians, where she learned that part of her brain is showing low activity. The moment aired in the Nov. 27 episode on Hulu, as Kim visited Dr. Daniel Amen with Scott Disick to take part in a brain scan meant to measure overall brain function.

Kim explained on the show that Dr. Amen is known for his imaging work and had previously scanned her sisters Khloé and Kendall in an earlier season. Before the results were read, Kim joked, saying “I have a beautiful brain.”

Dr. Amen shared some reassuring news first. According to him, the scan did not show signs that Kim is at high risk for Alzheimer’s disease. He also told her she did not appear to be struggling with major stress or anxiety. “You are extraordinary in being positive,” he told her.

But the doctor also pointed out something unexpected. He said that certain areas on her scan looked like “holes,” which he explained were signs of low activity in the frontal lobe. “The front part of your brain is less active than it should be,” he told her, adding that this part of the brain helps manage stress. He warned that this could make things harder for her as she prepares for the California bar exam.

Kim couldn’t hide her disbelief, responding, “That just can’t be… not accepting.”

Dr. Amen suggested that the lower activity might be linked to the amount of pressure Kim has been under. She has been studying for the bar while also dealing with personal stress linked to her 2022 divorce from Ye. After hearing the doctor’s advice, Kim said she planned to find a way to get her stress under control, telling the cameras, “I got to get on a plan to really figure this out.”

This health update came just days after Kim revealed on the Nov. 20 episode that another scan showed she has a brain aneurysm that has been there for years. Kim explained that after the discovery, she reached out to surgeon Keith Black for further tests. She also shared that doctors warned her that stress could play a role in making such issues worse.
