Hayley Williams is making it clear what kind of environment she wants for her upcoming solo tour.

Ahead of her first solo run supporting her new album Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, the Paramore singer set firm boundaries for who is welcome at her shows. In a cover interview with Clash magazine, Williams explained that her concerts are meant to be safe spaces where everyone can feel included.

“I don’t want racists around, and I don’t want sexist people around, and I don’t want people there who think that trans people are a burden,” Williams said.

“That’s a hard line for me now.” She clarified that when she says “all are welcome,” it only applies to people who actually believe in inclusivity. “All are welcome if you believe all should be welcome. If you don’t believe that, you’re not welcome,” she added.

Williams’ 2026 solo tour will start on March 27 in Atlanta and wrap up on May 15 in Los Angeles. The shows will promote her latest solo album and mark a new chapter in her music career.

Speaking out on social issues has been a consistent part of Williams’ public work. In 2023, she criticized legislation in Tennessee that targeted LGBTQ+ communities.

In 2024, during Paramore’s performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, she spoke against the Project 2025 initiative, pointing out its potential effects on reproductive rights, immigration, and diversity programs. Williams continues this advocacy in her solo work. On The New York Times’ Popcast podcast in October, she said she is “never not ready to scream at the top of my lungs about racial issues,” noting how connected those issues are to LGBTQIA+ rights and broader social justice causes.
