Zoe Saldana lit up the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash, and her outfit quickly became one of the most talked-about moments from the event.

The premiere took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, and Saldana arrived wearing a striking Saint Laurent gown that made headlines for its dramatic high slit.

The 47-year-old actress stepped out in a deep green, slinky dress that hugged her frame and moved easily as she walked. The gown had a one-shoulder design and gathered fabric that led into a bold knot above her waist.

A mustard yellow ribbon was tied at the back of her shoulder, adding a small but eye-catching detail. The daring slit ran all the way up her leg, giving the dress its standout moment. She completed the look with black strappy heels.

Her glam team also kept things simple and elegant. Makeup artist Vera Steimberg gave Saldana a soft matte look with rosy lips, defined brows, and mascara that made her eyes pop. Hairstylist Mara Roszak let her hair fall in loose, easy waves. She added only a few pieces of jewelry, wearing small studs and a bracelet to keep the focus on the gown.

Saldana later posted a mirror selfie on Instagram to show her full look and thanked the team behind it. The post quickly drew thousands of likes and a long list of comments from fans praising her style. The actress appeared excited for the night as she reunited with her cast and continued promoting the upcoming movie.

Avatar: Fire and Ash is scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 19.
