Ice Cube Returns in Hilarious Final Trailer for ‘Anaconda’ Reboot Starring Paul Rudd and Jack Black
The final trailer for the upcoming action-comedy Anaconda has been released, giving fans a first real look at the film’s mix of laughs and thrills.
The movie is a meta-reboot of the 1997 classic Anaconda and stars Paul Rudd, Jack Black, Steve Zahn, Thandiwe Newton, Daniela Melchior, and Selton Mello. Ice Cube and Jennifer Lopez also make cameo appearances as themselves. According to reports from Sony Pictures, the film is set to hit theaters in the United States on December 25.
Directed by Tom Gormican, who co-wrote the screenplay with Kevin Etten, Anaconda follows Doug and Griff, played by Jack Black and Paul Rudd, two friends trying to relive their youth. They head into the Amazon to shoot an amateur remake of the original Anaconda film. Their fun project quickly turns dangerous when a real giant anaconda shows up, putting their lives at risk.

Paul Rudd plays Ronald “Griff” Griffen Jr., a background actor, while Jack Black takes on the role of Doug McCallister, a wedding videographer. Steve Zahn and Thandiwe Newton play their friends Kenny and Claire, who join them on the shoot. Daniela Melchior appears as Ana Almeida, and Selton Mello plays Santiago Braga, a snake handler. The cast also includes Ione Skye as Doug’s wife, Malie McCallister, and Ben Lawson in an undisclosed role.
The final trailer highlights both the comedy and the action, showing the chaotic adventures of the crew as they face the deadly snake while trying to finish their film. Fans can see Ice Cube and Jennifer Lopez make surprise appearances, adding another layer of fun to the story.
