Margot Robbie turned heads once again during her Paris press tour for the upcoming gothic drama Wuthering Heights. The 35-year-old actress arrived on February 2, joined by co-stars Jacob Elordi and Shazad Latif, as well as director Emerald Fennell. The event transformed the City of Light into a showcase for Robbie’s bold fashion choices.

For an afternoon photo call, Robbie wore a custom Thom Browne dress that combined black silk moiré and lace in a peplum off-the-shoulder corset style. The look included a suspended “garter” skirt detail just below the hemline. Later, for the Grand Rex premiere, she switched into a burgundy velvet Chanel gown by Matthieu Blazy.

The fashion didn’t stop there. At the after-party, Robbie adapted her earlier Thom Browne look into a sleek black minidress by removing the suspended outer skirt. This practical transformation made the outfit perfect for a night of celebration, showing her ability to mix high-concept fashion with real-world comfort.

Wuthering Heights hits theaters on February 13, just in time for Valentine’s Day weekend. Early box office predictions suggest it could earn between $45 million and $60 million in its opening weekend. Director Emerald Fennell, who gained attention for Saltburn, has described the film as a “wild and passionate” reimagining of Emily Brontë’s classic novel, featuring a soundtrack by Grammy winner Charli XCX.

While Robbie focuses on her role as Catherine Earnshaw, her production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, has been busy. She is also developing a live-action adaptation of the popular video game The Sims.

Jacob Elordi, playing Heathcliff opposite Robbie, is also having a busy year. He recently appeared in Priscilla as Elvis Presley and starred in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein. Supporting cast members of Wuthering Heights include Hong Chau, Ewan Mitchell, and Alison Oliver.

The Paris tour followed a glamorous stop in Los Angeles last week, where Robbie wore a custom Schiaparelli gown paired with the $8.8 million “Taj Mahal” diamond, once owned by Elizabeth Taylor. Combining historical jewelry with avant-garde fashion, Robbie continues to make her press appearances as memorable as her film roles.

Do you think Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi will recreate the iconic chemistry of Catherine and Heathcliff, or is Fennell’s modern twist on the story too daring? Share your thoughts in the comments.
