Lizzo Turns Heads in Red as She Holds Hands with Boyfriend Myke Wright on Valentine’s Day
Lizzo celebrated Valentine’s Day with her boyfriend, Myke Wright, in Los Angeles on Saturday, February 14. The 37-year-old singer was spotted holding hands with Wright after a lunch date, wearing a bright red top, black leggings, and matching red heels. Her outfit perfectly captured the festive spirit of the day. Wright, an artist and TV personality, paired a black-and-white jacket with a white T-shirt and black pants.
The couple has been together since 2022 but officially made their relationship public in February 2023 at a pre-Grammys party. Recently, they have been seen more often at events, including the 2025 Baby2Baby Gala. Lizzo also supported Wright last month at the opening of his first solo art exhibit, Assorted Flavors, at the Weinstein Gallery in Los Angeles. Lizzo is my biggest fan and my greatest support, Wright shared, highlighting their strong bond.
In December 2025, Lizzo celebrated a legal win when a Los Angeles judge dismissed fat-shaming and weight-based discrimination claims filed by her former backup dancers. This fat-shaming claim has haunted me since the day it came out, Lizzo said on social media. She added that it was devastating to suffer through this in silence, noting her long-standing advocacy for body positivity.
Lizzo has also focused on her health and well-being. She recently showed off a significant weight transformation, describing it as a weight release rather than a loss. She explained that she worked on improving her BMI and blood pressure after struggling with depression in 2023. Now, when people see me on stage, they see themselves, she shared in a recent documentary about her rise to fame.
Looking ahead, Lizzo has several projects planned. On May 7, she will host a variety show called Lizzo & Friends as part of the Netflix Is A Joke Fest at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. The show will include music and comedy performances, featuring Eric André, Nikki Glaser, and Wright. She is also reportedly preparing a new music era following her latest single, Love in Real Life.
In addition to her music, Lizzo continues to grow her shapewear brand, Yitty, and her lifestyle platform, Me In Real Life. Through her newsletter, she shares details about her fitness routine and self-acceptance journey. Balancing her career with her relationship, 2026 is shaping up to be a year of both personal and professional success for Lizzo.
Lizzo’s mix of music, comedy, and entrepreneurship shows her versatility as an artist. Her commitment to self-care and body positivity is inspiring.
