Maya Hawke Secretly Ties the Knot on Valentine’s Day in Heart-Melting Ceremony
Love was in the air this Valentine’s Day because Maya Hawke is officially married. The actor and musician tied the knot with singer Christian Lee Hutson during a ceremony in New York City on Feb. 14. The news was first reported by People.
Photos shared by the outlet showed Maya wearing a classic white ball gown wedding dress with a lace veil and a feathery white coat. Christian kept things traditional with a black tuxedo, white shirt, vest, and a floral boutonniere.

Family members were there to celebrate the big day. Maya’s parents, Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, attended the ceremony. According to People, Uma wore a baby blue floor-length dress while Ethan walked beside his daughter holding her bouquet.
The wedding also turned into a mini reunion for the cast of Stranger Things. Guests included Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink and Finn Wolfhard, all spotted at the celebration, per the outlet.
Before the wedding, Maya had already shared sweet details about their relationship. During an appearance on The Zach Sang Show, she explained how their romance started after years of friendship while working on her 2024 album Chaos Angel. “I cannot recommend highly enough dating your friends. It’s the best.”
Christian later confirmed their engagement during an interview with The SoCal Sound, when host Julie Slater referred to Maya as his fiancée and he simply responded, “Yeah.”
Maya has been busy with acting and music, including her role in Asteroid City, and now she is stepping into married life as well. E! News said it reached out to the couple’s representatives for comment but had not heard back.
The Valentine’s Day ceremony marked a romantic new chapter for the pair, and fans are already celebrating the newlyweds.
