‘Beef’ Season 2 Trailer Drops: Netflix’s Hit Series Serves Up Marriage Drama and Fresh Faces at the Country Club
Netflix is serving up a fresh dose of drama with the first look at Season 2 of Lee Sung Jin’s hit series, Beef. The show, produced by A24, returns with a tense new storyline set at a country club, featuring an all-new cast including Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny. Netflix released the teaser on Thursday, giving fans a glimpse of the upcoming season.
Season 2, which premieres April 16, centers on a Gen-Z couple who get caught up in the chaos of their Millennial boss’s marriage. Ashley Miller (Spaeny) and Austin Davis (Melton) are newly engaged and work at the country club. They witness the unraveling relationship of their general manager, Joshua Martín (Isaac), and his wife, Lindsay Crane-Martín (Mulligan).
Every couple meets their match. BEEF Season 2 premieres April 16.

The story deepens as both couples try to navigate the power and politics of the club under the watch of Chairwoman Park (Youn Yuh-hung), a Korean billionaire dealing with a scandal involving her second husband, Doctor Kim (Song Kang-ho). Season 2 promises a mix of personal and professional tension as everyone vies for influence in the club.
Cailee Spaeny told Deadline in November that the new season is just as wild as the first. “What’s fun about this one, is that it’s beef between couples and different generations,” she said.
The first season of Beef, inspired by Lee Sung Jin’s own experience with a road rage incident, starred Steven Yeun and Ali Wong. Their story followed two strangers whose lives collide after a traffic incident. The debut season earned critical acclaim, winning four Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, and three Golden Globes, including Best Limited or Anthology Series or Television Film.
Season 2 shifts the focus from strangers to couples and generational tension, promising a fresh take while keeping the dark humor and intensity fans loved in the first season.
This new season looks like it’s going to be just as addictive and unpredictable as the first. Do you think the new cast will live up to the hype? Share your thoughts in the comments.
