Jake Gyllenhaal, 45, Steps Out With Girlfriend Jeanne Cadieu, 29, Turning Heads at ‘The Bride!’ London Premiere

Jake Gyllenhaal made a rare public appearance with his longtime girlfriend Jeanne Cadieu as the couple attended the premiere of The Bride! in London. The event took place at Cineworld Leicester Square and drew a crowd of fans and photographers.

The actor, who is 45, has been in a relationship with Cadieu since 2018. Despite being together for years, the pair rarely walk the red carpet side by side. Their appearance at the London premiere therefore caught attention, especially as they posed together and spent time greeting fans outside the venue.

Cadieu, a model who grew up in Paris and now mainly lives in New York City, arrived wearing a tight black turtleneck dress designed by Schiaparelli. The outfit featured an artistic outline of a female figure printed across the front. Gyllenhaal kept his look classic for the evening. The actor wore a black double-breasted suit and stayed close to Cadieu as the couple walked the red carpet together. Later in the evening they were seen heading to an afterparty at Bardo St James, where Gyllenhaal also stopped to sign autographs for fans waiting outside.

The premiere was an important moment for the actor because the film was created by his sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal. She wrote and directed the movie, which features Gyllenhaal in the role of Ronnie Reed. The story centers on a new version of the classic Frankenstein tale. The cast also includes Jessie Buckley in the lead role and Christian Bale as the monster.

Even though the couple usually keep their relationship private, Gyllenhaal has occasionally spoken about Cadieu in interviews. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter last year, he talked about how his priorities have changed over time. “I’m not going to give you timing [about wedding bells]. The couple attended the Good Food Pie Fest in Los Angeles and enjoyed tasting pies throughout the event. “We got [tasting] tickets a month and a half early,” he said. “I was like, ‘Babe, we can go! We can go to the pie contest!’”

Gyllenhaal has previously spoken warmly about his relationship in other interviews as well. In a profile for Esquire, he described the support he feels in his personal life. “In a lot of ways, we’re family. I’m in a relationship that is full of love and support. I feel so at ease.”
