Maika Monroe Captivates on the Red Carpet at ‘Reminders of Him’ Premiere

Directed by Vanessa Caswill, Reminders of Him follows the journey of Kenna Rowan, played by Monroe. After serving a prison sentence for a tragic mistake that resulted in the death of her partner, Kenna returns to her hometown hoping to reconnect with her young daughter.

She is met with adamant resistance from the community and the child’s guardians until she forms a secret, life-altering connection with a local bar owner named Ledger Ward, portrayed by Withers.

Maika Monroe has been remarkably busy over the past few years, coming off the critical success of her chilling performance in the 2024 horror hit Longlegs. She also recently starred in the indie thriller In Cold Light, which premiered in early 2026 and further cemented her reputation for choosing intense, genre-bending material.

Her ability to transition between unsettling horror and grounded, emotional dramas has made her one of the most sought-after actors in Hollywood today. Tyriq Withers, who takes on the role of Ledger Ward, is quickly ascending the ranks after his notable work in the I Know What You Did Last Summer sequel.
