‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Teaser & BTS Footage Drops — See the Drama Unfold!
HBO has released new images and details ahead of the return of Euphoria for its third season, set to premiere on April 12. The hit series stars Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow, and this season promises big changes for the characters fans know and love.
Season 3 jumps forward five years, showing how the characters have grown. Rue, played by Zendaya, is now in Mexico dealing with debt to Laurie. Creator Sam Levinson told HBO Max in London, “Five years felt like a natural place because if they’d gone to college, they’d be out of college at that time. We basically pick up Rue south of the border in Mexico, in debt to Laurie, trying to come up with some very innovative ways to pay it off.”
Cassie and Nate are engaged, and Levinson teased that social media and envy play a big role in her story now. “I feel strongly this is our best season yet… I will say that Cassie and Nate do, in fact, get married. I’m confirming it. And I promise that it will be an unforgettable night,” he added.

Other returning characters have new paths as well. Hunter Schafer’s Jules is in art school, while Alexa Demie’s Maddy works as a talent agent in Hollywood and has some side hustles. Maude Apatow’s Lexi gets a new boss in Sharon Stone, who plays a showrunner hiring her as an assistant.

Season 3 also introduces several new faces, including Marshawn Lynch, Rosalia, Priscilla Delgado, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Anna Van Patten, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. On the music side, Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer joins returning composer Labrinth, promising a fresh sound for the show.
