Jessica Alba has recently finalized a high-stakes divorce settlement with her former husband, Cash Warren, that highlights the financial complexities of long-term Hollywood marriages. The couple, who first met on the set of Fantastic Four back in 2004, officially ended their sixteen-year union last month.

Under the terms of the agreement, Warren is entitled to half of all residual income generated from the actress’s professional output during the course of their marriage. This includes earnings from major titles like Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, for which she reportedly received a salary between 1 million and 2 million dollars.

The financial split also covers her work on a wide range of productions, such as Valentine’s Day, the Machete films, and the recent Netflix hit Trigger Warning. Because they wed in 2008, Warren will share in the profits from her television ventures like L.A.’s Finest and The Spoils of Babylon.

However, the entrepreneur was able to protect her earnings from the earliest stages of her career. She will retain all royalties from projects completed before 2008, including her breakout performances in Honey, Never Been Kissed, and both Fantastic Four installments.

The division of assets extends significantly into Alba’s business empire, specifically her consumer goods firm, The Honest Company. With an IPO valuation estimated at 308 million dollars, Warren is set to receive over 1.1 million vested restricted stock shares and 4.5 million certificate-restricted shares.

While Alba was awarded several personal assets like her jewelry, bank accounts, and a fleet of vehicles, including an Audi Q-6 E-tron, other items will be split. The former couple has divided their extensive art collection, marital furniture, and accumulated airline miles.

Warren will maintain ownership of his 2024 BMW i7 as part of the arrangement. Additionally, the two will split their various joint investments in tech and consumer companies such as Telly Inc., Popchips, and Sona Labs.

The settlement also includes a 3 million dollar payment from Alba to Warren, structured in two installments through 2027. Despite the large financial exchange, neither party will be required to pay the other ongoing child or spousal support.

The pair has agreed to share joint custody of their fourteen-year-old daughter, Haven, and eight-year-old son, Hayes. Their eldest daughter, Honor, is currently preparing to begin her studies at Yale University later this year.

In the wake of the split, both parties appear to be moving forward with new romantic interests. Alba has been linked to Captain America: Brave New World actor Danny Ramirez, while Warren has been seen with singer Seanna Pereira and UCLA graduate Hana Sun Doerr.

Alba remains a powerhouse in the entertainment industry with a packed schedule of upcoming projects. She is currently set to appear in the spy thriller The Mark and Dakota Johnson’s directorial debut, A Tree is Blue.

Furthermore, the actress will take on a role in the high-profile sports biopic Maserati: The Brothers. She is also expanding her influence as a producer, developing the mystery drama Wine & Spirits for Fox and an R-rated comedy for Netflix in which she will also star.

Fans of her lifestyle work can also look forward to more episodes of Honest Renovations. The reality series was recently renewed for a fourth season on the Roku Channel, featuring Alba and co-host Lizzy Mathis assisting families in New Jersey.

This busy slate marks a significant professional resurgence for the star, who first rose to fame as a genetically enhanced soldier in James Cameron’s Dark Angel. Decades after her big break, she continues to balance her roles as a mother, mogul, and actress with remarkable momentum.

Her recent appearance during the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show served as a reminder of her enduring status as a global icon. As she navigates this transition in her personal life, her career trajectory suggests she is ready to embrace a new era of creative independence.
