Livvy Dunne is trading her gymnastics chalk for a rescue buoy as she prepares for her debut as a television actress. The 23-year-old social media sensation recently gave fans a glimpse of her off-duty style, stepping away from the “Baywatch” wardrobe that has dominated her recent headlines.

In a casual mirror selfie shared on Snapchat, the former LSU athlete posed in a layered ensemble consisting of a white one-shoulder t-shirt over a black camisole, paired with sleek black micro shorts.

This relaxed look follows a wave of excitement generated by the first official set photos from the upcoming Baywatch reboot. Just last week, images surfaced of Dunne on a Los Angeles beach wearing the franchise’s iconic red high-cut swimsuit.

The former gymnast, who recently retired from competitive sports in April 2025, appeared to be in high spirits while filming alongside her new castmates. “I only run in slow motion now,” she joked in a recent Instagram caption, poking fun at the series’ most famous cinematic trope.

The Fox revival, scheduled to premiere during the 2026-2027 television season, marks a significant career pivot for Dunne. She has been cast in the recurring role of Grace, described as a “highly enthusiastic junior lifeguard” who brings a youthful energy to the elite beach team.

To prepare for the role, Dunne reportedly spent months taking professional acting lessons and recently completed “ocean training” at Venice Beach to master real-life rescue techniques and water safety.

The reboot features a star-studded ensemble led by Stephen Amell, who steps into the role of a grown-up Hobie Buchannon. Amell’s character has followed in the footsteps of his father, Mitch, to become the division’s captain.

The cast also includes Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell, Yellowstone actress Hassie Harrison, and fellow influencers Brooks Nader and Noah Beck. In a nostalgic nod to the original 1990s series, veteran actor David Chokachi is also set to return as Cody Madison.

Dunne’s transition into Hollywood comes after a legendary collegiate career where she helped lead the LSU Tigers to a national championship. She has already proven her ability to command a massive audience, boasting millions of followers across her platforms.

“It’s something I’ve been passionate about for quite some time,” she said of her move into acting, noting that her background in gymnastics provided the discipline necessary for the long hours on a film set.

In addition to her television work, the blonde bombshell continues to be a dominant force in the modeling world. On March 24, it was officially announced that she would appear in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue for the fourth consecutive year.
