Natasha Lyonne (47) Addresses Claims of Being Escorted Off Flight
Natasha Lyonne has spoken out after reports claimed she was removed from a flight, an incident that also caused her to miss a planned interview with Drew Barrymore.
The situation reportedly happened after a red-eye flight from Los Angeles to New York City.
According to Page Six, Lyonne was escorted off the plane after she did not follow instructions from flight attendants. The outlet reported that crew members noticed she appeared to be asleep behind sunglasses and had not fastened her seatbelt.
Lyonne did not directly confirm or deny those details, but she reacted shortly after the reports began circulating. In a post shared on X on April 9, she wrote, “My heart is with all the unpaid TSA agents at our airports. Sure was looking forward to speaking honestly with @DrewBarrymore yesterday but guess wasn’t in the cards.”

She also appeared to question the source of the report, adding, “Who owns page six/New York Post now again?”
The missed interview with Drew Barrymore was meant to happen the day after the flight. Because of the incident, she was unable to attend.
The timing of the situation came just days after Lyonne attended the Los Angeles premiere of Euphoria season three on April 7, before boarding the flight mentioned in the report.
Representatives for Lyonne and Delta have not publicly commented, and E! News said it reached out for clarification but did not receive a response.
Before this travel issue, Lyonne had recently shared a personal update about her recovery. In March, she posted a message on X saying, “Proud to report this kid is doing a whole lot better & back on her feet.” She also thanked people who supported her, writing, “Want to thank our recovery communities & the fans who stood by & were so supportive.”

She made it clear she wants to keep most of her journey private but may open up more in the future, saying, “Aiming to keep the journey somehow private, but look forward to sharing my experience, strength & hope as makes sense.”
Earlier in January, she had spoken about relapse and the reality of addiction, writing in a post that was later deleted, “Recovery is a lifelong process. Anyone out there struggling, remember you’re not alone.”
For now, Lyonne has not given full details about what happened on the flight, but her response shows she is aware of the reports and the attention around them.
