Either way, it is the clearest public signal yet involving Jackman and this project.
It also fits a pattern. Jackman has spent the past year dodging direct questions about ‘Avengers Doomsday’ in interview after interview, never fully denying involvement while never confirming it either, which has only fueled speculation given how many of his old X-Men castmates are already locked into the film.
Marvel has set ‘Avengers Doomsday’ for a December 18, 2026 release, with Joe and Anthony Russo directing a story that brings the Avengers, the new Fantastic Four, and the returning X-Men into collision as Doctor Doom emerges as the central threat.
