Aaron Pierre Finally Opens Up About How He’s Processing ‘Lanterns’’ Massive Success

Now, star Aaron Pierre, who plays John Stewart alongside Kyle Chandler’s Hal Jordan, is finally addressing just how he’s processing that wave of attention. “I’m rarely on the internet, but I do feel it outside of the context of the internet, and I feel an immense gratitude,” Pierre told ScreenRant. Behind the scenes, the series counts Chris Mundy as showrunner, with Tom King and Damon Lindelof among its executive producers, giving the project a genuinely stacked creative pedigree that’s clearly translated into the finished product’s reception.

With the show continuing to generate strong viewership numbers and glowing reviews well past its premiere, Pierre’s grounded, gratitude-focused response feels fitting for a project that’s managed to win over both critics and casual viewers alike.
