‘Michael’ Star Laura Harrier Dazzles for Tiffany & Co. In a Show-Stopping Rubellite Necklace
When it comes to red carpet polish, Laura Harrier has a knack for letting a single statement piece do the talking, and her latest Tiffany & Co. moment is a perfect example. The actor joined a starry lineup for the jeweler’s newest California celebration, bringing understated glamour to an evening built around high jewelry.
The occasion was the grand opening of Tiffany’s South Coast Plaza store in Orange County, California, which opened on September 23. The expanded boutique features High Jewelry, iconic Tiffany collections, and the Blue Box Café by Daniel Boulud, and the celebration included a multi-course dinner by Boulud and a performance by singer Ashe.
Images from the night have continued circulating online. Many photos of Harrier were spread online, showing her in a sleek black dress with her hair pulled back and a sparkling necklace resting at her collarbone.
The centerpiece was a true high-jewelry showpiece. Harrier wore a Bird on a Rock by Tiffany necklace in platinum and yellow gold set with a 12-carat rubellite and diamonds. In the photos, she completed the look with matching pink-toned drop earrings and a ring, keeping the palette cohesive and letting the rich stone shine.
Her dress choice was just as deliberate. The wide neckline of her black FFORME dress framed the Bird on a Rock necklace perfectly, creating clean space around the jewels rather than competing with them.
Harrier was in good company. She celebrated alongside Zoey Deutch and Charles Melton among a crowd of VICs, as well as Anton Segerstrom, a partner in the family business behind South Coast Plaza. Model Kelsey Merritt was also photographed at the event.
The other guests brought their own Tiffany flair. Deutch wore a black Aflalo dress with a HardWear Color necklace in yellow gold with pearls and turquoise, a piece that made its first outing that evening. Melton, dressed in Boglioli, accessorized with an aquamarine Bird on a Rock brooch and a Tiffany Timer Chronograph watch in titanium and platinum.
Ashe offered a pop of color amid the sea of black. The performer wore a pale blue strapless LEO LIN Pre-Fall 2026 gown dotted with small bows, opting for more subtle Tiffany jewelry. The event also highlighted the latest chapter in Tiffany’s ongoing expansion of its Blue Box Café concept.

The Tiffany appearance fits neatly into Harrier’s growing reputation as a style standout. Her love of vintage glamour even extended into home design earlier this year, when she and designer Tiffany Howell of Night Palm launched an exclusive Crate & Barrel collection inspired by their shared passion for vintage cinema and fashion.
That collection included pieces like the Salon sofa, the Waltz Chandelier Light and the Arlo bar cabinet. It’s the same old-Hollywood sensibility that shows up in her red carpet choices, where polished simplicity often takes center stage.
Harrier’s path to high-profile events like this one started with a big break. The Chicago native was discovered by Steve McQueen for his HBO pilot shortly after moving to New York for drama school.
She went on to earn critical acclaim portraying Robin Givens alongside Trevante Rhodes as Mike Tyson in Hulu’s limited series ‘Mike’. She also starred opposite Jack Harlow in the ‘White Men Can’t Jump’ remake and appeared in ‘BlacKkKlansman’.
