Paris Fashion Week has once again taken over the French capital, running from September 28 to October 6 as designers unveil their Spring-Summer 2027 womenswear collections. As always, the front rows have been just as closely watched as the runways, and Jodie Comer has turned up in a look that is giving fans plenty to talk about.

It has been a big year for the Liverpool-born actress. She premiered A24’s ‘The Death of Robin Hood’ in New York in June, then took the musical horror romance ‘Stuffed’ to the Toronto International Film Festival in September, and along the way her red carpet wardrobe kept coming back to one fashion house.

That house is Givenchy, and Comer was among the stars sitting front row at its Spring 2027 Ready-to-Wear show. New photos of her outfit quickly began circulating on social media, showing the actress in a bold scarlet Givenchy halter top with slim black trousers.

The top features a softly draped high neckline, gathered fabric through the torso and a long asymmetric panel falling from the waist, so it is easily the focal point of the outfit. Below it, slim black trousers with a pressed front crease keep things restrained, while black square-toe heeled mules continue the dark palette.

Comer wore her blonde hair in a loose low updo with soft strands framing her face, paired with understated rose-toned makeup. CelebMafia gave the look an 8/10, praising its distinctive draping and the disciplined proportions of red against black.

She was in good company, too. The front row also included Eddie Redmayne and Hannah Bagshawe, Janelle Monáe, Marisa Berenson and Yoon Jeonghan, among others. The appearance is the latest chapter in Comer’s growing relationship with Givenchy’s creative director Sarah Burton.

In a profile with WWD, Comer named Burton among her favorite designers, and she has since spoken about loving the balance of masculine and feminine Burton brings to her clothes.

Her press tour for ‘The Death of Robin Hood’ made that clear. At the New York premiere, she wore an open-back black lace gown from the Givenchy by Sarah Burton Pre-Fall 2026 collection, and at the London photocall on September 2, she styled an oversized white Givenchy shirt as a dress with the brand’s Shark Pinch knee-high boots.

Fashion has not always been a huge part of her public image, though. Comer previously sat front row at Givenchy’s spring 2026 show and said she’d like to get more involved, calling these “wonderful opportunities and a byproduct of doing the job that I do,” as she told WWD.

Comer’s career has given her plenty of reasons to dress up. She starred as Villanelle in ‘Killing Eve’ from 2018 to 2022, and her trophy shelf now includes 2 BAFTA TV Awards, an Emmy, an Olivier and a Tony.

Her latest film is about as far from a fashion show as it gets. ‘Stuffed’ is a musical body horror romance about a man afraid of being forgotten who volunteers his body to a taxidermist in the event of his death, only for the two of them to fall in love, with Comer playing Araminta opposite Harry Melling’s Bernie.

The project marks the feature debut of writer-director Theo Rhys, expanding his short film of the same name, which won awards at SXSW in 2021. It opened the Discovery program at TIFF in September, where Comer walked the carpet in Fendi Couture.

Meanwhile, ‘The Death of Robin Hood’ pairs her with Hugh Jackman as Robin Hood and Bill Skarsgård as Little John, so it’s no wonder she’s been on such a busy promo schedule. Paris now appears to be her well-earned victory lap.
