‘Predator: Badland’ Star Elle Fanning Gives Coach a Starry Twist in Dreamy New Photos
Few celebrity-brand partnerships feel as natural as Elle Fanning and Coach. The actress has become a fixture of the label’s marketing, fronting campaign after campaign and turning up at its runway shows with the brand’s signature Tabby bags in hand.
This year alone has been packed with Coach moments. Fanning starred in the Spring 2026 “Explore Your Story” campaign, which celebrated Gen Z storytelling and reading with Tabby bags and miniature book charms, and then sat front row with fellow ambassador Storm Reid at the brand’s Fall 2026 show inside New York’s historic Cunard Building on February 11.
Now she’s sharing a fresh look at her love for the brand. In new photos shared on October 4, Fanning poses against a textured terracotta wall with a light Coach shoulder bag covered in small star details, and fans have already been sharing the images across social media.
The outfit keeps things simple so the accessory can shine. Fanning wears a long cream coat, with a light blue layer peeking out underneath, while the pale bag with its signature C hardware rests at her hip.
Her blonde hair falls loose and slightly tousled, and she strikes playful, slightly shy poses, with one hand raised to her face. The warm red backdrop gives the shots a vintage, editorial feel that suits the bag’s whimsical star pattern.
The look fits neatly into Coach’s current direction. The brand’s fall collection leans into crystal embellishments and beading to keep a bit of summer sparkle alive as temperatures drop, featuring a denim Tabby Shoulder Bag and a beaded satin Teri Shoulder Bag.
The photos arrive just weeks after Fanning took the lead in Coach’s fall campaign, “Live Your Story.” Across 4 short films directed by Vincent Haycock, she plays a bus driver heading to a music festival, picking up a different musician in each one.
Her passengers include PinkPantheress, Korean singer-songwriter Soyeon, Japanese singer-songwriter Lilas, and Chinese singer Shan Yichun. Each artist also provides the music for their own story, and each star carries a custom Tabby bag adorned with Coach’s new concert ticket charms.
The campaign is aimed squarely at Gen Z. Coach CMO Joon Silverstein said the concept taps into the generation’s desire to spend less time behind screens and connect more deeply in real life, and the brand has partnered with Spotify on a “Live Your Story” hub and a roving Tabby Tour bus with live performances.

Fanning has helped make the Tabby one of the most talked-about bags around. Coach released 5 special-edition versions for the fall campaign, one inspired by each cast member, with the PinkPantheress-inspired Tabby Shoulder Bag 26 priced at $595.
Her personal style has fueled the hype as well. Back in February, she carried a pecan brown Quilted Tabby Shoulder Bag 26 to the Coach show, and in April she was photographed in New York with a brown Tabby Shoulder Bag, styling it with a ruffled floral dress and slip-on buckle heels.
The timing worked for her career, too. That spring outing came while she was promoting her Apple TV+ series ‘Margot’s Got Money Troubles’, and around then Google searches for “coach bag” reached their highest point since 2021.

Fanning’s appeal for Coach lies in how effortless she makes it all look. Whether she’s driving a festival bus or simply posing against a brick-red wall, she brings a playful, storybook quality that mirrors the brand’s current mood.
Her latest starry bag may not have the big-budget production of a campaign, but it shows why the partnership keeps working. If past trends are any indication, fans will soon be hunting for that bag themselves.
