Sophie Turner Unveils Major Hair Transformation 15 Years After ‘Game of Thrones’ Debut
Sophie Turner has been a fixture at Louis Vuitton shows for years. The longtime ambassador rarely misses one of Nicolas Ghesquière’s presentations, and each season her front-row looks offer a new chapter in her style evolution.
Last year, at the label’s Spring/Summer 2026 show, the ‘Game of Thrones’ alum wore a sculptural structured jacket with a beaded top. This season, she went in a much warmer and brighter direction.
On Tuesday, October 6, Turner arrived at Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2027 show at the Cour Carrée du Louvre with a noticeably different look. She traded her signature auburn for a deep reddish brown, and photos from the event quickly spread online.
Turner, 30, wore her new hair long with a side part and loose, polished waves at the ends. The richer color gave her a softer, vintage feel. The change caught plenty of people off guard. Some observers said she looked almost unrecognizable with the dark hair.

This isn’t the first major hair transformation for Turner this year. She previously dropped her platinum blonde hair for her role as Lara Croft in ‘Tomb Raider’, and she debuted her darkest shade yet at her 30th birthday celebration in February.
Her outfit came from Ghesquière’s Resort 2027 collection for Louis Vuitton. The centerpiece was a cropped jacket mixing 3 colors and textures, with large, rounded padded shoulders. The voluminous sleeves were made from caramel brown textured leather with turned-back cuffs.
A white leather center panel had a high collar that fell open, while cobalt blue panels ran along each side, and the hem was gathered with elastic. Underneath, she wore a white ribbed tank top with matching slim, straight-leg cobalt leather trousers. White pumps and a small burgundy-brown handbag with a gold chain strap completed the outfit.

The look had a clear 1980s influence, and one fashion site praised the precise way each color was placed. Cobalt covered the trousers and side panels, white ran through the center, and caramel was saved for the sleeves.
Turner kept her makeup warm and understated. She wore a taupe smoky eye with a little shimmer on the lids, rosy blush, and a cool-toned nude lip. That subtle approach let the jacket’s bold color blocking and her new hair stand out.
Turner wasn’t the only star wearing blue. Fellow ambassador Emma Stone arrived in a cobalt blazer look, while Saoirse Ronan chose a red colorblock sweater with a studded leather mini skirt.

Zendaya, Ana de Armas, Chloë Grace Moretz, Wunmi Mosaku and Rhea Seehorn were also among the guests. The show closed out Paris Fashion Week on its final night. On the runway, Ghesquière took a gentler approach than in previous seasons. The collection featured space-age suits, reflective sunglasses and shift dresses finished with silver lamé foil.
Turner’s caramel-and-cobalt outfit fit that retro-futuristic mood while adding some of the brightest color in the front row. Combined with her new hair, it made for one of her most noticeable Louis Vuitton appearances yet.
