Who Is in the ‘Lupin’ Season 4 Cast (With Photos)
The cast of ‘Lupin’ returns to Netflix on October 23, and all eight episodes of the new season arrive at once. That makes it the longest installment in the history of the series, ahead of the seven episode run of the previous chapter. The ensemble blends familiar faces with two newcomers.
Omar Sy leads alongside Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Soufiane Guerrab, Shirine Boutella, Théo Christine and Laïka Blanc-Francard. Here is a closer look at each performer and what has been confirmed about their place in the story.
Omar Sy

Omar Sy returns as Assane Diop, the gentleman thief inspired by the Arsène Lupin stories of Maurice Leblanc. The season opens four years after the previous chapter, with Assane still in prison and focused on serving his sentence.
His plans are upended when a mysterious announcement signed by Lupin warns that several museums will be hit by simultaneous heists. A camera appears to show Assane inside one of the museums during a robbery, so he must escape and wear the Lupin costume again to prove his innocence.
Sy also has a larger creative role behind the camera this time. He produces through his company Carrousel Studios and shares showrunner duties with Louis Leterrier. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Sy said the goal was a bigger season with more production value, more action and a stronger villain.
Ludivine Sagnier

Ludivine Sagnier returns as Claire Laurent. Claire is Assane’s ex and the mother of his son Raoul, which has made her central to the personal stakes of the series.
Netflix has framed the new season as a return for Assane’s family, his police allies and his nemesis, with Pellegrini coming back as well. That mix suggests the emotional side of the story will carry as much weight as the heists.
The trailer shows Assane locked in a glass box while someone else claims the Lupin mantle, and it opens with a line announcing a new Lupin. The series has been one of the most watched international shows on Netflix since its debut, and Sagnier remains part of its core ensemble.
Soufiane Guerrab

Soufiane Guerrab returns as police inspector Youssef Guédira. His role as the investigator closest to Assane puts him at the center of the hunt for whoever is behind the museum robberies.
Shirine Boutella also returns as Sofia Belkacem. The official synopsis states that Belkacem is a captain who is seriously injured during one of the museum heists.
Antoine Gouy completes the returning group as Benjamin Férel. Netflix confirmed these returning names and the two newcomers when it announced that the new season would run for eight episodes.
Théo Christine

Théo Christine joins the cast as the now older Raoul, the son of Assane and Claire. Etan Simon played Raoul in the first three seasons and does not appear to be returning.
Christine was born in 1996 and is a French film and television actor. He is known for ‘Supacell’ and ‘Skam France’. He also appeared in ‘Infested’.
Christine is also cast alongside Omar Sy in an upcoming epic adventure film, so the two have a working history outside the series. Earlier coverage noted that Netflix had not detailed his character. The recasting of Raoul is one of the more notable changes in the new season.
Laïka Blanc-Francard

Laïka Blanc-Francard joins the cast after appearing in the ‘The Walking Dead’ spinoff ‘Daryl Dixon’. Netflix has not revealed which role she plays.
Details about her character remain under wraps, even after a trailer that teases a second figure operating under the Lupin name. That secrecy leaves room for speculation about how she fits into the central mystery.
Netflix France posted the first episode on YouTube on October 15, a week before the premiere. The full season then arrives on October 23. With Netflix keeping Laïka Blanc-Francard’s character hidden, who do you think she plays, and could she be tied to the new Lupin behind the museum heists?
