Few stars have owned this year’s red carpets quite like Eiza González, and her white satin style has become one of the most talked-about threads of her 2026 fashion run. The Mexican actress, who first rose to fame in Latin America with the telenovela ‘Lola, érase una vez’, has been on a near-constant press circuit this year.

Her calendar has been packed for good reason. González appeared in ‘I Love Boosters’, ‘In the Grey’, and ‘Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice’ this year, with ‘I Love Boosters’ currently standing as her highest-rated film on Rotten Tomatoes at 92%.

Now, a new set of photos shared by several outlets on X has fans swooning all over again. The images show González in a flowing ivory satin gown with a dramatic open back and a cape-like panel trailing from one shoulder, posed against a brick staircase in one shot and caught mid-motion as the fabric swirls around her in another.

The look matches the gown she wore to the 6th Annual Academy Museum Gala, held on October 17 at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles. For the event, she chose the Ralph Lauren Collection Posie one-shoulder satin gown from the Spring 2026 collection, styled by Elizabeth Saltzman.

The design is deceptively simple. The bias-cut ivory satin slip features a single shoulder strap and a deep plunge, with the long, cape-like panel falling behind her and the back dipping low.

That flowing panel is what keeps the look so captivating. Red Carpet Fashion Awards noted that in every picture of the gown, the drape seemed to be billowing in the wind, adding an extra layer of romance to an already stunning dress.

She finished the ensemble with Aquazzura sandals and David Yurman jewelry. CelebMafia highlighted how her glossy brunette waves and softly defined makeup reinforced the gown’s classic evening feel.

The moment quickly spread across social media. Deadline and ExtraTV both shared clips and posts of her arrival, with fans flooding timelines with praise for the ethereal look.

The white gown is part of a striking streak for the actress. Just a week before the gala, she attended the ‘I Love Boosters’ premiere at the BFI London Film Festival in a black lace and tulle Fendi gown from Maria Grazia Chiuri’s debut Fall/Winter collection for the house, paired with David Yurman jewels.

Not every look won unanimous praise, though. Red Carpet Fashion Awards admitted it found the Fendi dress underwhelming, despite praising her sleek hair and flawless makeup.

White has clearly become a recurring favorite. She wore a white dress with a plunging neckline to the ‘I Love Boosters’ premiere at SXSW, a white Bottega Veneta gown with a keyhole detail at the New York screening, and a one-shoulder Proenza Schouler dress to the Disney Emmy Toast.

Beyond fashion, her career momentum shows no signs of slowing. In ‘In the Grey’, she stars alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Henry Cavill in a story about elite covert operatives sent to steal back a billion-dollar fortune from a ruthless despot.

She has also been preparing for a new project called ‘Iron Jane’, for which she reportedly underwent an impressive physical transformation. With awards season approaching, fans can expect plenty more red carpet moments from one of Hollywood’s most reliable style stars.
