Doctor Doom has been everywhere this fall. As ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ approaches its December 18 release, Marvel and its partners have filled the marketing calendar with Doom-themed teasers, statues, collectibles, and brand tie-ins, keeping Robert Downey Jr.’s masked villain firmly in the spotlight.

The list of collaborators keeps growing. Dunkin’ has rolled out a limited-time ‘Doomsday’ menu, M&M’s expanded its partnership with Marvel, Hasbro and Funko have released new collectibles, and Jack in the Box is teasing its own collaboration starring a Doom-inspired version of its mascot.

Now another striking piece of promotional art has surfaced. As Avengers Updates shared, a new look at Doctor Doom in promotional art for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ features the villain in an imposing pose surrounded by swirling green energy.

The artwork shows Doom in his dark green hood and cloak, his metal mask catching the light as he extends an armored gauntlet toward the viewer. Glowing green smoke curls around him, and the film’s logo sits at the bottom alongside the December 18 release date.

The most eye-catching detail is the metallic logo placed in front of Doom’s outstretched hand. It belongs to happy, the coffee brand co-founded by Downey himself. The art ties into a partnership Happy announced earlier this month. The brand launched a collector’s edition line of ready-to-drink coffee in collaboration with Marvel Studios’ ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, playfully celebrating what it calls a “happy Doomsday.”

The collection features 8 collectible can designs showcasing MCU heroes and villains. Fans can find Black Panther, Captain America, Gambit, Mister Fantastic, Mystique, The Thing, Thor, and, of course, Doctor Doom, played by the brand’s own co-founder.

The lineup includes 4 of Happy’s most popular drinks: classic and Tahitian vanilla cold brews, plus vanilla and chocolate chip lattes. The campaign leans into the film’s ominous countdown with a cheeky promise that while Doomsday is coming, at least fans will be caffeinated.

The pairing makes the collaboration especially memorable. Downey, who spent years as Tony Stark in the MCU, is now stepping into the role of Victor von Doom, making his own company a natural promotional partner.

The design itself borrows heavily from the film’s established visual identity. Marvel’s marketing has consistently bathed Doom in eerie green light, from countdown teasers set in his throne room to stained glass-inspired promotional art.

The happy collaboration adds to an already crowded field of tie-ins. Doom has appeared everywhere from Williams F1’s racing promotions to theater lobby statues in Osaka and Shanghai.

The sheer volume of partnerships reflects Marvel’s confidence in the film. ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ brings together the Avengers, the Fantastic Four and the original X-Men in a story billed as the start of the Multiverse Saga’s final chapter, and presales have already broken records in several markets.

For fans, the new artwork is another reminder of how central Doom will be to the story. Downey’s villain has anchored nearly every major promotional beat since his casting was announced.

Whether fans grab a Doom-themed can of coffee or simply admire the artwork, the message is clear: Doomsday is getting closer, and Marvel wants everyone to feel it. The film arrives in theaters on December 18.
