According to the Cast, ‘School Spirits’ Season 2 Is in for a Shocking Finale

The cast of School Spirits is hyping up the upcoming season 2 finale, and if their hints are anything to go by, we’re in for something wild. The Paramount+ teen mystery took off with Cobra Kai’s Peyton List leading the way as Maddie, a high school ghost tries to solve the mystery of her own death.

But things took a shocking turn in the first season’s finale, revealing that Maddie wasn’t actually dead—she was possessed by Janet Hamilton, played by Jess Gabor.

Now, season 2 is digging even deeper into Maddie’s fight to take back her body, uncovering more dark secrets tied to Janet and the school’s ghostly counselor, Mr. Martin. The cast, including Kristian Ventura, Rainbow Wedell, Kiara Pichardo, Spencer MacPherson, and Milo Manheim, recently teased an ending that will be even crazier than last time.

Kiara Pichardo joked, ‘Maybe we shouldn’t set expectations so high,’ but quickly admitted that the finale would have us on the edge of our seats.

Kristian Ventura made it clear that predicting the ending is nearly impossible, saying, ‘Think about the worst thing that could happen, and then worse than that.’ Spencer MacPherson added that the surprises won’t just be at the end—every few episodes will drop huge reveals.

Season 1 left us with some mind-blowing twists, and season 2 isn’t holding back. With Janet still on the loose and new ghosts appearing, there’s no telling what’s coming next. Ventura’s cryptic warning suggests something brutal, maybe even heartbreaking.
