After the release of ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,’ allegations surfaced against Jonathan Majors, known for his roles as Victor Timely in ‘Loki’ Season 1 and as Kang the Conqueror in ‘Quantumania.’ Majors faced accusations of assault against a woman he was reportedly dating, leading to a significant downturn in his career.

He was arrested in March 2023, resulting in job losses, the departure of his management team, and the withdrawal of commercials featuring him.

Despite maintaining his innocence, Jonathan Majors faced a legal battle amid allegations of assault. His legal team aimed to prove his innocence, releasing text messages between Majors and the accuser. However, this move appeared to have adverse effects, particularly in the public perception. In December, a guilty verdict was reached, leading to Disney terminating Majors’ contract. This decision sparked significant changes within the franchise, with ‘Avengers: Kang Dynasty’ undergoing reevaluation. Rumors suggest that a replacement for Majors is actively being sought.

A year after the charges were filed, Jonathan Majors received his sentence. Judge Michael Gaffey opted for a conditional discharge, considering both sides agreed that jail time wasn’t warranted. As a first-time offender with a clean record, Majors was instructed to undergo a 52-week, in-person batterer’s intervention program in Los Angeles, his place of residence. He’s also required to continue mental health therapy as advised by his legal team. Any breach of these conditions could lead to a year-long imprisonment. Additionally, Majors is forbidden from contacting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.

It seems the legal battles are far from over for Jonathan Majors. Recently, his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, filed yet another lawsuit against him in a New York federal court. The suit alleges assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, malicious prosecution, and defamation. The defamation accusation revolves around statements Majors made during a ‘Good Morning America’ interview after his conviction, where he denied physically harming a woman. Throughout the trial, Majors’ attorney consistently accused Jabbari of fabricating her injuries from the March 2023 incident.
