Witches Enter the MCU in Style: ‘Agatha All Along’ Teaser Trailer Reveals Stellar Cast and The Witches’ Road

Agatha made her debut in the Disney+ series ‘WandaVision’ as the nosy neighbor who is later revealed to be a powerful witch attempting to steal Wanda’s powers. By the series’ end, Agatha is defeated and trapped in her neighbor persona, left powerless—a situation that will carry over into the first episode of her own show. In the comics, Agatha is one of the most powerful magic users, sharing a significant connection with Wanda.
Given Agatha’s popularity, it was no surprise that she would get her own show, marking the first spin-off from ‘WandaVision.’ With the release date approaching, the studio has unveiled the first teaser trailer, which promises a visually stunning series.
The show will center on Agatha’s quest to regain her powers. After escaping her confinement in Westview, New Jersey, Agatha Harkness finds herself powerless and enlists unexpected allies to help restore her abilities.
The teaser trailer also introduced the Witches’ Road, a mystical plane where female witches’ powers are amplified compared to male warlocks. Additionally, the show offers a first look at the Salem Seven.
The cast of ‘Agatha’ features both returning actors from ‘Wandavision’ and several new faces. Kathryn Hahn reprises her role as Agatha Harkness, alongside Debra Jo Rupp as Sharon Davis, Emma Caulfield Ford as Sarah Proctor, and David Payton as John Collins. Joining them are Aubrey Plaza as Rio Vidal, Joe Locke as Billy Kaplan, Patti LuPone as Lilia Calderu, Sasheer Zamata as Jennifer Kale, Ali Ahn as Alice Wu, and Miles Gutierrez-Riley as Hulkling.
‘Agatha All Along’ is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on September 18, 2024, launching with its first two episodes, followed by weekly releases of the remaining seven episodes until November 6. The series is positioned within Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
