All the Anime Series Coming Out in November 2025
November is stacked with a musical feature from the studio behind ‘Crayon Shin-chan’, an anthology of eight wild shorts from the creator of ‘Chainsaw Man’, a Studio 4°C mini series that debuted at the Osaka World Expo, a sweeping new fantasy epic from Mamoru Hosoda, and a theatrical sequel to a summer yuri hit that will later air on TV. ‘The Obsessed’ (2025)

‘Toritsukare Otoko’ is a musical anime film from Shin Ei Animation with Wataru Takahashi directing and a screenplay by Naoyuki Miura, featuring character designs by Masatsugu Arakawa. The songs are written by atagi of Awesome City Club and the theme is performed by the band, with lead numbers sung in character by Masaya Sano and Moka Kamishiraishi. The film adapts Shinji Ishii’s novel and opens in Japanese theaters on November 7, 2025 through Bandai Namco Filmworks. Voice roles include Giuseppe and Pechka among others and trailers released in July and September confirmed the cast and music cues.
‘Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26’ (2025)

‘Fujimoto Tatsuki 17–26’ adapts eight one shots by the author of ‘Chainsaw Man’ and streams worldwide on Amazon Prime Video beginning November 7, 2025. Each episode comes from a different staff and studio, including Lapin Track, Studio Kafka, Zexcs, 100studio, P A Works, and more. The anthology covers stories such as ‘A Couple Clucking Chickens Were Still Kickin’ in the Schoolyard’, ‘Sasaki Stopped a Bullet’, ‘Love is Blind’, ‘Shikaku’, ‘Mermaid Rhapsody’, ‘Woke Up As A Girl Syndrome’, ‘Nayuta of the Prophecy’, and ‘Sisters’. The project also held limited theatrical screenings in Japan and South Korea ahead of streaming.
‘Future Kid Takara’ (2025)

‘Future Kid Takara’ is an original short form TV series from Studio 4°C that first premiered as a special presentation at the Osaka World Expo and then airs on NHK Educational TV on November 8 and November 9, 2025. The series is directed by Yuta Sano with writing by Shinji Obara and features original designs by Shinji Kimura. It runs eleven bite sized episodes over two days and stars Yuki Kaji and Honoka Yoshida, who also perform the theme song titled Chikyu no Namida. Categories and official materials describe time travel and science learning themes tied to its Expo origins.
‘Hateshi Naki Scarlet’ (2025)

‘Hateshi Naki Scarlet’ is Mamoru Hosoda’s new Studio Chizu feature about a sword fighting princess who can cross time and space as she tries to avenge her father. After a Venice out of competition premiere on September 4, the film opens in Japan on November 21, 2025 with Toho distributing. The cast includes Mana Ashida, Masaki Okada, and Koji Yakusho, and the production blends new digital techniques to achieve highly detailed facial animation. International distribution is handled by Sony across different labels following an initial plan for a December rollout in North America.
‘There’s No Freaking Way I’ll Be Your Lover! Unless… ~Next Shine~!’ (2025)

‘Watashi ga Koibito ni Nareru Wake Nai jan, Muri Muri! (*Muri ja Nakatta!?): Next Shine!’ is a theatrical sequel to the summer yuri TV series from Studio Mother with direction by Natsumi Uchinuma and scripts by Naruhisa Arakawa. The film continues Renako and Mai’s relationship saga from the school set romantic comedy and arrives in Japanese theaters on November 21, 2025 under the subtitle ‘Next Shine’. After the cinema run the sequel will also be broadcast on television as a five episode follow up. Music is again by Yoshiaki Fujisawa and the project is licensed by Remow.
