‘Avengers: Endgame: Encore’ Trailer Drops With New Footage Ahead of ‘Doomsday’
Marvel is giving fans another reason to return to one of the biggest movies in MCU history. ‘Avengers: Endgame‘ is coming back to theaters on September 25 as ‘Avengers: Endgame: Encore,’ and the new rerelease is getting more attention than a normal trip down memory lane.
A new trailer has now been released for the theatrical return, bringing back some of the movie’s biggest moments while also teasing what fans can expect from the special version. The rerelease comes just a few months before ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ arrives, making the timing feel very deliberate.
According to the information released by Marvel Studios, ‘Endgame: Encore’ will include about four minutes of footage that was not part of the original 2019 theatrical version. The movie will also come with an exclusive preview of ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ giving fans a chance to see something new while revisiting one of Marvel’s most important stories.
The bonus content gets even more interesting for fans watching in premium formats. Those seeing the movie in IMAX or Disney’s Infinity Vision-certified theaters will reportedly get another ‘Doomsday’ preview in addition to the material being shown in regular screenings. Marvel has already used this kind of theater-only marketing during its ‘Doomsday’ campaign, including previews connected to ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash.’
Of course, the biggest attraction is still ‘Endgame’ itself. The new trailer reminds viewers why the movie became such a massive event in the first place. It includes major moments from the final battle, including the heroes returning through the portals, Steve Rogers finally lifting Mjolnir, and Tony Stark making his final sacrifice.
