Is Bad and Crazy Season 2 coming out?
At the beginning of 2020, it was announced that Yoo Seon-dong is joining the project as the director. Shortly after that Lee Dong-wook’s agency confirmed that he is looking over the script and that he is interested to be a part of the project.
This was of course only the beginning of the Bad and Crazy TV show, but even then, when the main cast was revealed the anticipation among fans had started to grow. The series has a really good blend between comedy and serious topics so that the viewer is not exhausted by the end of the episode.
It has been over two years since the show started to develop, and we are still waiting on new information about the future of the project. It’s definitely hard to say if this reunion would happen soon since Dong-Wook and Ha-Joon have been recognized internationally and have already been booked for projects for this year.
Lee Dong-Wook is currently working on three projects, the first one being the filming of the second season of Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938, and by the end of last year, he was starting to work on a spy action movie project with co-stars Hyun Bin and Jeon Yeo-been. Finally, he has been cast in an upcoming drama called The Murderer’s Shopping Mall.
After starring in the famous Netflix show, Squid Game, Wi Ha-Joon had his international break. Soon after he landed some new and exciting projects like the recent drama called Little Women and of course the Bad and Crazy series. Currently, he has two new projects lined up, the first one is a drama called Gyeongseong Creature which is set to be released on Netflix. Finally, the second project is another series called The Worst of Evil, starring Lim Se Mi and Ji Chang-Wook.
Is Bad and Crazy ongoing?
The last episode of Bad and Crazy was released at the beginning of 2022. Since then there haven’t been any new episodes, but as we’ve mentioned, that might change over time. It is a very popular show and it was one of the most streamed shows on Via. This would mean that there is a lot of interest in the second season to be made.

We would say that the show is definitely worth watching. Assuming that you enjoy the action and comedy genre, you will most likely enjoy this series as well. The cast has had some great moments over the 12 episodes, and the amazing acting from Lee Dong-Wook and Wi Ha-Joon is definitely a treat to watch. The setting can be quite dark at times, especially when the show is dealing with difficult topics like corruption, abuse of power, drug dealing, and so on.
Another great element of this show is its action sequences which have been very well choreographed. The fight scenes are dynamic and sometimes even exaggerated but with very interesting visual techniques. If you enjoy mystery, this also might be something that you will like, considering the show has many different cases that the police are working on.
The different relationships between the characters have been established well, especially between the main characters. Their love-hate relationship will draw you in pretty quickly, and something that you will also encounter is a lot of twists and turns in the story.
