Why you should watch it: Dystopian societies have always been an interesting topic for numerous storytellers. This movie brings us an interesting story that might remind us of 1984 to some extent that doesn’t have to be bad. It is not a copy of Orwell’s view on the future of society, and it probably relies on some of his premises, delivering it in its way. 

Eye in the Sky (2015)

What it’s about: Helen Mirren plays Colonel Katherine Powell, a military officer in charge of an operation that captures terrorists in Kenya. Her mission turns unexpectedly when a girl enters the kill zone and starts an international dispute about the implications of modern battles and warfare.

Why you should watch it: This is an intelligent thriller full of suspense, twists, and turns, with a great story and excellent performances. It will draw your attention from the beginning and keep you interested.
