Blue Lock Season 2 potential release date
The series premiered on October 9, 2022, and became quite popular around the world; Blue Lock was definitely a hit series in every aspect, and it was one of the most talked-about new anime series at the time. It ended after 24 episodes, on March 26, 2023, and immediately afterward, a 15-second teaser trailer was released confirming the release of a second season and a spin-off movie based on the Blue Lock: Episode Nagi spin-off manga. Some new cast members were also confirmed, but no release window was provided for either of the upcoming projects. Based on how things go, we shouldn’t really expect anything before mid-2024.
As stated, the producers have provided us with some great news related to the future of Blue Lock, but at this moment, we have very little to go on. The anime series was a hit, and fans are looking forward to new content, which is why the producers will probably want to make the best adaptation possible, and that could take a while.

Blue Lock Season 2 potential cast
As we have said, we don’t have any detailed official info about the second season of Blue Lock, so we can only speculate that the main cast from the first season, both the Japanese and English voice actors, will return. Let’s look at other shows and how things usually play out. The main cast is probably going to return, as it is quite rare for cast members to change between seasons unless a character ages significantly, but since that is not the case with this show, we expect the cast to return.
This, of course, depends on the production dates and everything else, but this has been the case with most anime so far, as we have said, so we can assume that it will happen again with Blue Lock, but we cannot be absolutely certain.
