Brie Larson Officially Joins Fast & Furious 10

Brie Larson, best known for the role of Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the role of Joy “Ma” Newsome in 2015’s Room, for which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress, is now officially set to join Vin Diesel and the rest of the family in the upcoming tenth installment of the Fast & Furious saga.

Vin Diesel, the main star and the producer of the franchise shared on his Instagram account a selfie with Larson, writing a long caption in which he confirmed that Larson will take part in the movie, but he didn’t specify the role. Larson previously said that she would love to be in the Fast & Furious franchise, and now, looks like her wish was granted.

Yeah yeah yeah… you see this angel over my shoulder cracking me up, you say to your self “ that’s Captain Marvel”. Clearly, there is love and laughter in this image. What you don’t see, however, is the character you will be introduced to in Fast10. You have no idea how timeless and amazing she will be in our mythology. Beyond her beauty, her intellect… her Oscar, haha is this profound soul who will add something you might not have expected but yearned for. Welcome to the FAMILY Brie. — Vin Diesel
