‘Brothers’ Episode 8 Release Date, Time, Where to Watch and Preview
The season finale of ‘Brothers’ arrives on Wednesday, November 4, closing out the run of Apple TV’s comedy starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. Apple announced that the series would debut with two episodes, followed by one new episode every Wednesday through November 4. That schedule puts ‘Brothers’ episode 8 exactly one week after the seventh installment.
For viewers planning their finale night, the practical questions are when it lands, how to stream it, and what can reasonably be said about it. Here is what is confirmed about ‘Brothers’ episode 8 and what remains unannounced.
‘Brothers’ Episode 8 Release Date
Apple says the eight episode comedy launched with episodes 1 and 2 on Wednesday, September 23, with the finale following on November 4. Every installment in between has landed on a Wednesday, which makes the finale date easy to track.
Episode listings place the seventh episode, “The Interview,” on Wednesday, October 28, and the eighth, “On the Road Again,” on Wednesday, November 4. Reelgood’s guide writes the finale title as “On the Road…Again.” Listings differ slightly in how they punctuate it, so the exact styling may not be settled.
The title also appears to echo the first episode, which is called “On the Road.” Whether that is a deliberate bookend has not been addressed in any official material found so far.
Apple TV has not yet announced a second season of ‘Brothers’. For now, episode 8 is described as the conclusion of the first season.
‘Brothers’ Episode 8 Release Time
Apple has not stated what time ‘Brothers’ episodes come out. That leaves viewers relying on how the platform has handled other releases.
Apple TV generally drops new content at midnight Pacific Time, which means viewers on the East Coast typically see it at 3 AM. The second episode of ‘Severance’ followed that pattern, arriving just after midnight Pacific Time. Viewers in other regions will need to convert from Pacific Time to their own time zone.
Because the timing is unconfirmed, anyone who wants to watch the finale the moment it goes live should check the Apple TV app on November 4. Those who prefer to wait for a more convenient hour will find the episode available all the same.
Where to Watch ‘Brothers’ Episode 8
‘Brothers’ is exclusive to Apple TV. It will not be available on any free streaming service, though new subscribers can use a seven day free trial. The series plays in the Apple TV app or in a browser at tv.apple.com.
After the free trial, Apple TV alone costs $14.99 a month, while a bundle with Peacock costs $17.99 a month. That pricing applies to US viewers, and the same service costs £9.99, CA$14.99 and AU$15.99 monthly in other markets.
Episodes can be downloaded through the Apple TV app on supported devices and watched offline. The app runs on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV 4K, Apple Vision Pro and Mac, as well as smart TVs from Samsung, LG, Sony, VIZIO and TCL. Apple lists a typical runtime of around 32 minutes per episode.
‘Brothers’ Episode 8 Preview and What to Expect
There is no official synopsis for any episode of ‘Brothers’, only titles and release dates. That means a detailed preview of the finale would have to be guesswork, and the more useful approach is to look at where the season has been heading.
The official logline says that after Woody’s daughter’s wedding falls apart, he moves the family to Matthew’s ranch in Austin, where Matthew’s mother Ma Mac, played by Holland Taylor, accidentally reveals a long-buried secret that the two friends might actually be brothers. One recap guide describes the season as building toward the truth about their possible biological connection. Matthew is also dealing with an identity crisis of his own, a possible run for Governor of Texas.
The series carries real production history behind it. Filming began in Austin in March 2025 and wrapped that fall, after production paused in mid June when showrunner David West Read exited over creative differences. Lee Eisenberg is credited as showrunner and executive producer, working alongside McConaughey and Harrelson.
The pairing itself has deep roots. McConaughey and Harrelson co-starred on ‘True Detective’ and also played brothers in the 1999 comedy ‘EDtv’. With the finale one week out, the open question is whether ‘Brothers’ episode 8 settles the rumor about McConaughey and Harrelson once and for all, and which answer would you want to see on screen.
