‘Call of the Night’ Season 2 Previews “Mirage” OP by Last Year’s Hitmakers Creepy Nuts in New Trailer

Call of the Night had a solid outing when it’s first season premiere and, as expected, the anime is back for a second season, which is set to premiere on July 4 on HIDIVE, as has been confirmed.
Of course, ahead of the new season’s debut, the producers behind the project are revealing more and more information, and we have some we would like to share with you here.
Namely, you probably know that last year’s hitmakers Creepy Nuts have been hired to write the OP for the second season and now the producers have released a new trailer in which we can hear part of the song.
Before we continue, here is the preview trailer:
The song is going to be called “Mirage“, and while it is going to be different than the duo’s last year hits – “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born” and “Otonoke” – you can hear their characteristic style even in this short preview.
As for the anime, we’ve already said that the second season is set to premiere on July 4 on HIDIVE, and it will be animated by LIDENFILMS. Tomoyuki Itamura will be the director of the project, with Mao Miyoshi and Izumi Takizawa serving as assistant directors. The rest of the main staff will include Michiko Yokote in charge of the script, Haruka Sagawa as the character designer, and Yoshiaki Dewa as the music composer.
The main voice cast includes:
- Rina Sato as Kiku Hoshimi

- Miyuki Sawashiro as Anko Uguisu
- Yumiri Hanamori as Akira Asai
