Charlie Cox Just Gave Fans Hope for Most Exciting MCU Team-Up We’ve Been Waiting For

In the comics, Daredevil and Spider-Man are good friends and often team up to fight crime. Both heroes live in New York City, so they run into each other a lot. Daredevil is a blind lawyer by day and a crimefighter by night, while Spider-Man is a young superhero who juggles school and saving the city.

They respect each other’s skills and both want to protect the innocent. Even though Daredevil is serious and prefers working alone, and Spider-Man is funny and more social, they make a great team. Over time, they’ve helped each other in many battles and built a strong friendship.

Since both Daredevil and Spider-Man are now part of the MCU, fans are excited to see their relationship play out on screen. Charlie Cox just made that possibility feel even closer.

At the D23 event in Brazil, Cinepop got the chance to ask Cox some questions. When asked about the main difference between his Netflix show and the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again, Cox said the tone and action would be similar to the Netflix version.

However, the big change is that his new show can now include more MCU characters. Cox is excited about Daredevil working alongside so many other characters, which opens up opportunities for exciting crossovers.

Cox was also asked which MCU characters he’d like to team up with or face in a fight.

I’d like to do some fighting with Spider-Man, at some point. That would be really fun. Now who would I love to fight against? Um, I wouldn’t, I wouldn’t want to piss off the Hulk.

Both ideas make sense, especially the possibility of Daredevil teaming up with Spider-Man. Reports say that Spider-Man 4 was originally planned as a street-level story that would include Daredevil and Kingpin.

However, things are a bit unclear right now, as the movie’s focus is said to have shifted to the multiverse, especially after the announcement of Doctor Doom at this year’s SDCC.

Keep in mind, though, that these are just rumors. The movie is still early in development, and not much is known about it yet, except that Tom Holland will return as Spider-Man and Destin Daniel Cretton will be the new director.
