Charlie Cox’s Daredevil Confirmed to Wear at Least 5 Different Suits in ‘Daredevil: Born Again’
This year’s D23 event was filled with exciting news, with one of the standout moments being the teaser trailer for ‘Daredevil: Born Again.’ The teaser unveiled potential plot points and characters for the first season. It’s now officially confirmed that Muse will appear as one of the villains, and White Tiger will make a cameo, validating earlier set leak rumors. Additionally, Bullseye will start the season in jail.
The teaser suggests that Matt Murdock and Kingpin will have some form of understanding, though it appears likely to fall apart as the season progresses. Furthermore, the trailer hints at possible connections to the Young Avengers, particularly with Yusuf Khan’s presence.
The leaked trailer also confirmed several helmet designs, suggesting that Daredevil might don at least five different suits in the upcoming show. This isn’t surprising, given Daredevil’s varied wardrobe in the source material. The Netflix ‘Daredevil’ series featured at least three different suits, while the MCU’s ‘She-Hulk’ showcased his iconic red and gold suit. We’ve already learned from set leaks that Daredevil will sport a new suit design in the show, and the leaked trailer footage further revealed multiple new helmet designs, including a likely black variant of the suit.

In the 2010 ‘Shadowland’ crossover, Daredevil, having taken control of the Hand, was corrupted by the cult’s patron demon, the Beast. Under the Beast’s influence, Daredevil led the Hand in increasingly extreme crime-fighting efforts, transforming Hell’s Kitchen into a mystical prison and donning an all-black costume with a red logo and eyes.
Once the Beast was purged from his soul, Daredevil abandoned the dark suit and reverted to his original attire after a period of self-discovery. His third black suit, a blend of the Shadowland costume and his traditional outfit, maintained the Shadowland theme but incorporated red boots, gloves, escrima sticks, and a new logo. For years, Daredevil’s black suit was his standard look until he returned to his classic red costume in 2018.
