An untitled Star Wars movie, which will be produced by the president of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige, is still actively in development. Feige, who is probably the most deserving person for the creation of Marvel Cinematic Universe, will now try his work on that other big Disney franchise – Star Wars. Disney apparently has a lot of confidence in Feige’s work.
Now, according to One Take News, Academy Award winner Chloé Zhao will reportedly direct that untitled Star Wars film. Her newest film, Marvel’s Eternals, also produced by Feige, is now in theaters.

Zhao, who won an Academy Award for her movie Nomadland, expressed interest to direct a Star Wars movie only a month ago. When she was asked “Would you like to direct a Star Wars movie?”, she answered:
“Hmm. I have to tread very carefully with what I say here. Yes. Let’s just say, it’s a world I have so much reverence for because it was such an important part of my life.”
Zhao is apparently enjoying when she’s working for Disney, regardless of the franchise. She also revealed last month that she would love to make another project for Marvel, so potentially, there’s a lot we could see from her collaboration with Kevin Feige and Disney in general.
“What I loved about making this film [Eternals] is that it tied so close to the origin of the MCU is also going to have a big repercussion moving MCU forward. With those two as secured, we get to play and do whatever we want and make a stand strong standalone film and leave everything on the table. I would be back in a second working with the team at Marvel for sure. So we’ll see.”
Not much is known about an untitled Star Wars movie except the fact that it will be produced by Feige. So there’s nothing that can be said right now. We still need to wait for some legit information.
