Hachi: A Dog’s Tale (2009)
On his way home, university professor Parker Wilson (R. Gere) sees an abandoned Akita puppy at the train station. When asked if the puppy may have been lost by stationmaster Carla (J. Alexander), he receives a negative answer, Parker temporarily decides to take the animal home, believing that Carla will soon be contacted by the real owner.
